When it comes to dryers, there have been so many manufacturers, that if you weren't paying attention, you could be buying a real pile of you know what. From heating elements that break quick and cost $200, to bearings that can't hold up to the weight of a blanket, Sargent's has seen it all. We rebuild the best designs because of it. Over the years, we have become big fans of certain designs, some of which are still being made today. One of our favorites is the Whirlpool made, top lint filter dryers (dryers with their lint catcher on the top of the dryer, instead of in the door). This dryer is one of the oldest designs still being made today because of its durability and low cost repair parts.
